Our 20th Anniversary Celebration

This month, we are celebrating our 20th birthday!! 20 years ago, CBW Founder, Tim Maahs, was a pioneer in paving the way for what is today’s Upper King. On September 27th, it will officially be 20 years since Charleston’s Home for Beer & Sports officially opened their doors.

We are proud to honor and carry on the legacy he laid forward. After opening in 2003, CBW became one of the first local beer scenes to offer craft beers from local breweries Coast Brewing & Holy City Brewery. Today, we are proud to represent 12+ Charleston breweries and carry a vast rotating selection of local offerings at all time. These past twenty years have been full of sports, entertainment, creative food, and the best local beers. We can’t thank you enough for continuing to make Charleston Beer Works Charleston’s home for beer & sports. Cheers to the past 20 years and to the many more to come!

Celebrate CBW’s birthday with us for the final weekend of “5 Sours of Summer” with Snafu Brewing Company. We will have celebrations throughout the entire anniversary weekend.
