October Brewery Feature: Wide Awake Brewing Company

It’s important to keep it local! At Charleston Beer Works, we love to have a selection of local Charleston brews on tap. This month we are featuring the new and local Charleston brewery, Wide Awake Brewing Company. All of October, we will be featuring 2 of our favorite Wide Awake brews.

Established this year, Wide Awake is located in Summerville, South Carolina. We’re excited to work with Wide Awake and help share their passion for beer!

This brand new brewery began at home, brewing in their backyard. It started as a hobby, 20 years later this passion became Wide Awake Brewery.

Wide Awake puts love and passion in every beer they brew, this is why they are a microbrewery. Keeping the space small allows them to perfect every batch just the way the like them. 

Wide Awake has a unique craft beer list. From their list, the 2 beers we are featuring are the Illemonati, a delicious lemon IPA, and the American Citrus Sour, a sour ale.
